Georgetown Advances to Nationals in Atlanta
March 1st - 4th, 2001: Hoyas advanced to the elite 8 at the Nationals in Atlanta, GA. Georgetown made a respectable showing. Vs. Florida, W 4 - 1, and vs. Wyoming L 3 - 2. Wyoming went on to win the Championship.

The Georgetown University Club Hockey Team continues to grow and greets the new millenium as an officially recognized school club sport during the 2000-2001 season. The Hoyas compete in the Mason-Dixon College Hockey Association at the Div. III club level. Fifteen squads comprise the MDCHA, which is broken into three divisons. Georgetown is the defending champion of the South Division, which also includes American, Catholic, George Mason and George Washington.

FUTURE GAMES The Hoyas encourage fans to attend games throughout the 2000-2001 season. Home games are played at the Cabin John Rink in Rockville,MD., and many road contests take place at the Fort DuPont Rink in the District. The Hoyas also play some games at the MCI center! We would like to thank the Washington Capitals for their support. Other than the games played at the MCI Center, regular-season games are free of charge.
